The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible, consisting of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is the verbally inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We use and believe the King James Version of the Bible.
The Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person is distinct, yet the three are one God — the same in substance, equal in power and glory.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and bodily ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is fully God and fully man. He is the only Mediator between God and man, and salvation is found in Him alone.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, indwells, seals, and sanctifies every believer at the moment of salvation. We believe the sign gifts of the apostolic age have ceased.
The Fall of Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but through Adam's sin, all mankind fell and is now totally depraved — spiritually dead, unable to save himself, and in need of God's grace.
Salvation
We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. It is not of works, lest any man should boast. The moment a sinner repents and trusts in the finished work of Christ, he is born again, justified, and eternally secure in God's hand.
Eternal Security
We believe that all who are truly born again are kept by the power of God and are eternally secure in their salvation. No true believer can ever be lost or separated from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
The Church
We believe the local church is a body of baptized believers who have voluntarily assembled together to worship God, observe the ordinances, and carry out the Great Commission. The church is self-governing, independent, and accountable to Christ as its Head.
The Ordinances
We believe the local church observes two ordinances: believer's baptism by immersion, which is a public declaration of faith and identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection; and the Lord's Supper, a memorial of Christ's sacrifice until He comes.
Separation
We believe in personal separation from worldliness and ecclesiastical separation from apostasy and compromise. We are to be holy as God is holy, and we are to contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints.
Civil Government
We believe God has ordained civil government for the good of society. Christians are to pray for and submit to governing authorities, except where obedience to man would require disobedience to God.
Marriage and the Family
We believe marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman as defined by God in Scripture. The family is the foundational institution of society, and parents are responsible before God for the spiritual training of their children.
Last Things
We believe in the pre-tribulational rapture of the church, followed by the seven-year tribulation, the literal second coming of Christ to earth, His millennial reign, the resurrection of the dead, the Great White Throne Judgment, and the eternal state — heaven for the saved and the lake of fire for the lost.
